The plan offers an initial diagnosis and aims to offer recommendations for future treatment/management of back pain.
Once you have booked your place on our Chronic back pain assessment plan you will be given an appointment to attend with our physiotherapist.
He will assess your back pain, muscle strength, general mobility, range of motion and your symptoms.
He will prepare a report of his findings. You will then have an MRI scan and x-rays of your back.
The Specialist spine Consultant will see you in his clinic to review all your results and discuss the cause of your back pain.
Once you have a diagnosis you will be given recommendations for your future treatment. These may be non-invasive conservative treatments or surgery.
- This diagnosis plan is designed for patients suffering with a history of more than six months back pain (Chronic).
- This programme is designed for non insured self funding private patients.
- This plan is offered at a fixed all inclusive price to cover all investigations as mentioned below.
- This service excludes patients with a history of vertebral fractures of less than three months.
The cost of the plan includes:
- Back assessment session with our Physiotherapist.
